This Haegar Potteries Mid-Century Modern Speckled Ashtray may be a recent creation, but it was made with over one hundred years of craftsmanship experience behind it! Haeger Potteries was founded in 1852 as a brickyard, when German immigrant David H. Haeger took advantage of the clay found on the banks of the Fox River in Dundee, Illinois. Following the turn of the century, Haeger's brickyard began crafting fine pottery. While the company unfortunately is no longer in business, it's artistry lives on in beautiful pieces like this one.
